Thank you for the link but I have already tried all three of those fixes.  I have tried turning off the mobile connection and using only wifi - still can't download appworld.  I've also done resolutions 2 and 3 with no success. 

 

I have also tried going to the app world web site on the BB browser and I get to the point where it is asking for my username/password before downloading and then I get the error "it appears that you do not have cookies enabled.  please enable cookies and try again."  However, I DO have cookies enabled and am using the BB browser and still get the error code.

bpdulla, is there any chance you're on a BES or corporate BlackBerry with an IT Policy that might disable use of AppWorld?

I am on a corporate BB but I had been using app world. 

 

I was finally able to get it downloaded via direct connection to my home laptop.  The USB connection didn't work with my work-laptop. 

 

working fine now and can download apps.

I've recently updated blackberry app world and also blackberry messenger. Both of the icons have disappeared off my home screen. I've searched for it in device > application management and its there. I have tried downgrading bbm to an older version previously as advised and it still won't work!!! I'm using blackberry torch.

Using your BlackBerry browser, go to www.blackberry.com/appworld and download/install again.
