I need to change my BlackBerry ID Username

The current username is a former work email address that is nog in use anymore, and I would like to change it on my phone so that I can get a new password sent to the new email address because I forgot my password.  There are upgrades available, but I can't access it, because the mail address is incorrect, and I forgot my password.  Please help.

You indeed have a problem:

As you can see, all methods of resetting the BB ID (lacking the password) require access to the email account to which it is registered. Not knowing your password, there is really nothing you can do...unless you can convince your formal work to 1) accept the reset email and 2) forward it to you. Otherwise, having failed in human component of the security of this system (forgetting your password), you will lose all prior purchases.

I've also got a problem with my BB ID Username... For some reason is the email address incorrect and therefor could not receive any mails with my passwords.

How could I change or correct the email address?

It won't help me, because the email address that was entered - was entered incorrectly..... It was enter with .co and not .com... SO I NEVER RECEIVED A PASSWORD. How could I correct the email that was entered, so I could get my password?

Oh...OK...In that case, since you've never actually used the BB ID for anything, then there's no issue. Just abandon that one and create a new one, using the correct entries so that you can receive the necessary information, receive emails, etc.
