Delete it, reboot, and install again.

So if I do this jsanders will this mean I get the app world version 4.0.0.63 or still have to stick with 55??

If you download .63 and it works, you're fine.


If not, go with .55 and at some point RIM will have this figured out.

Have the same problem - using a Torch 9800
Operating system 6.0 bundle 695
I did not reboot when the phone asked me to.

Have also tried deleting and re-installing, but not happening. The icon is nowhere to be found !

It appears the current workaround is to downgrade your AppWorld client to version 4.0.0.55. This can be done by visiting the following link in your browser.

Experiencing the same. Here's my phone details after typing myver. Yes I have rebooted when my phone prompted me. 9780/6.0.0.285

I am facing a similar problem when I upgraded the app world to versin 4.0.0.63. Below are my handset details:

1. OS version : 9800/6.0.0.246
2. Device type: blackberry torch 9800
3. Yes, the device was rebooted when prompted
