I've tried past one month, But unbale to get the app world icon.

I've security wibe all data. But still not get the appworld icon.

Only all my apps only erased.

What should i do.

anyone has tell what fucntion is happen on app world.

My device 9800 os 6.0

Sorry to hear you are having issues locating your BlackBerry App World™ icon.

Did you check for hidden icons by hitting Menu and selecting Show All?

If you use Universal Search and type App World, do you see the icon? Is it grayed out? 

Under Options>Device>Application Management do you see App World listed? If so, delete it (either by hitting the DEL key or Menu>Delete) and reboot once the deletion completes. On your device browser go to www.blackberry.com/appworld and reinstall the application.

This is to inform you that i have downloaded my app world on my bb but still its not showing.. i have followed all the steps which were said but not working still ...

Hope to have reply very soon so that i can do it asap..

I have exactly the same problem....Blackberry App World icon not showing, even though the software is installed (showing in Device - Application Management-).

I have tried deleting and reinstalling App World several times, but the Icon is nowhere.

I have followed all those suggestions and still the absent Blackberry App World icon persists. Just to be clear, my applications list shows Blackberry System Software 6.0.0 and Blackberry App World 4.0.0.65 installed. Of course I have removed the battery and rebooted. Any more suggestions?

if you had followed all those suggestions, you would have AppWorld 4.0.0.55 and not .65 .

Ok, my mistake, I now realise that I need an earlier version....4.0.0.55 in order to restore my app world icon. However when I type exactly that http address into my blackberry it say the page does not exist. I have tried other methods to get to the same download....googling "download app world 4.0.0.55" but no route I have tried takes me to the page on which I can download 4.0.0.55. It could just be that the Blackberry browser isn't very good, but I don't see why that is relevant. On one route I did get the message "uncaught exception report". Any suggestions or links that will give me access to the download of 4.0.0.55? Thanks

you must not copy the URL.
use your mouse, right click on the link, and copy the link address.
then send that link to yourself by email.
when you receive that email on your device, you can click on it to trigger the installation.

Thank you. That worked. I now once again have Blackberry Appworld. It did give me an error report "uncaught exception report" after downloading, but it seems to be stable.
