I have a 9630 tour and I am getting the same response my phone don't have wifi now hw do I go about solving this problem. And my bis goes down everytime I get the text please can someone advise thanks

The wifi is a non-guaranteed workaround.
Essentially Research In Motion have to fix something that is not working properly.

So I would like to see them step-up and fix the issue.

Although my device that had the issue was also an 8520, the bandwidth for it is not an issue. This is a product problem.

It may sound obvious but make sure you have enough memory on your primary storage device! That worked for me

Go to applications in the bb protect on your phone and play with the email I'd etc, it worked for me last night after struggling with it the whole day

I agree that this is something RIM should look at - too many people having the same problem. I checked on my BB, the Blackberry Identity app takes about 786kb, for those who want to know.
