Can't connect to laptop

hello good day to all

I'd like to ask help regarding my bb curve device. I'm trying to download ap from Blackberry app world through my laptop. Upon downloading, a message says that i need to connect my device. i tried to connect but it is always error. or try to do disable content protection. I already disabled  it but still i cant connect. what else should i try to do about it. Please help. thank you very much

Could you please provide more information so we can better assist?

 

  1. Can you please provide the full text of the error message you receive?
  2. Does your PC detect the BlackBerry Curve smartphone connected?
  3. Is your BlackBerry smartphone connected to the mobile network when you receive this error?
  4. Can you please verify that you are signed in to the BlackBerry World website with your BlackBerry ID and retry the download?
