Delete my Blackberry ID

Hi guys,

How can I delete my old blackberry ID? I want to register with a new ID.

When I first registered something musthave gone wrong: Whenever I want to download an app, I get directed to Log In page. After logging in, I get Personal settings displayed before me, just in case I want to change e-mail or password. Going back only takes me back to Download app. Its stuck in a loop I dont what to do and cant even get an app to downlaod?

I stopped using Blackberry App, uninstalled it untill I found Blackberry Support Community Forums and willing to give it another whirl. But first want to delete my first BB ID. How do I go about doing so?

Please, need help with this.

Regards,

Gin

Re: Delete my Blackberry ID

I don't think there is any need to delete the prvious ID. Just create a new one with no problem.

And, I don't know of a way to delete it, anyway.

Re: Delete my Blackberry ID

Alixepc, you managed to revive a nine month old thread.

Since that first post, the issue has been updated and yes, you can delete a BlackBerryID.

--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.
Good luck.

Re: Delete my Blackberry ID

Nope, you'll need to create it with a new and different email account.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Here is a KB that discusses the process:

  • KB25464 How to delete a BlackBerry ID

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

Good luck and let us know!
