Paypal was working ok until the last AppWorld update. Not after that, even after reinstallation and carrier support, whom were aware of this weird issue.

Anyway, my problem was finally solved. I switched from paypal to credit card (mastercard in case you wonder), whose currency matches the one in appworld. All my purchases are ending without errors now.
I still believe this whole mess is stupid and RIM should address it .. yesterday!
Anyway and happily, I don't need to waste more time on this annoying issue anymore.

Ya.. But RIM should undeestand that not everyone has credit card, those only has paypal stuck forever with this issue.

Even with the newly updated version of the App World, this Error I'd:9300 problem still not fixed! OMG! Why they don't listen to our prob seriously!

Cos they have better things 2 do then worry about then the user's that have the phone. Its frustrating, so much off nice apps there n we can't buy it. They lossing out big time but they don't give a f......

Well, I upgraded my BB Apps last night to version 3.0xxxsomething. I was a bit apprehensive, but except that the first loading took a long time, it is working well.

In this version, BB has placed "My Account" as a separate menu item instead of under "My World" as was in the earlier version (2.1xxx something). Now changing payment options has become easier as one doesn't need to search for it. 

The only issue I am facing is the same issue I had with the earlier version, i.e., authentication takes very long sometimes, and of course if it doesn't authenticate, you can't access your account. That's why in my earlier post I particularly stressed on "wait for authentication".

Authentication could be a problem with my wi-fi or carrier. My wi-fi is very unreliable.

ive upgraded too. thought it would actually solved my prob. but no. ive approved the paypal. entered my credit cards info. and still ....error 9300 came up. frustratiing. called my carrier n banks...no prob again w my account. hmm...
