I'm having the same problem. While I can understand and respect companies that do text substring searches of usernames to keep people from making login IDs that are rude / offensive, I take exception to them telling me that my GIVEN NAME is unacceptable. Here are some pretty well known folks that would have no ability to create a username based on their last name: Andy Roddick Angie Dickinson Mike Bordick Josh Reddick Gimme a friggin break here. How do I get my PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE username created?
