2-3 times a day i'll get a notification on my phone shows "Featured Applications".

Not only is it annoying to keep checking my phone and closing it, but it's interrupted and actually ended my call i was in the middle of. 

Is this a virus/adware app that's on my phone, or do all phones have this pop-up??

How do i get rid of it??

This is not a virus. This is a popup notification that is being generated by other installed free app. Usually we download free apps and those comes will ads. If you have any free apps recently then consider removing it.

That makes perfect sense!

I deleted the app i downloaded recently and i hope it solves the problem.
