Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your Bridge™ Contacts.
What version of Bridge is installed on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9700 smartphone? What version of software does your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet have installed?
When you go to your Contacts on your BlackBerry, are you able to access them?

Does this same error display if you were to select the native Contacts icon?
On your BlackBerry directly and launch your Contacts, go to Menu>Options and what is listed under Contact Lists?
If you go to access other Bridge apps, such as Calendar or Messages, are you able to view them?
