How does Pairing with playbook work? Does data Copy or just view on PB.

Hi

my 9900 got app error 200 and have found no way to bring it back without formatting.

Seeing Ive had the device paired with my playbook. I'm wondering if the data from emails etc on Blackberry is transferred to the playbook when connected or if it's just used like in a temporary remote view scenario.

Does anyone know?

Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

The Bridge functions allow you to control the functions between the devices, but the data is not actually transferred between them. You simply are, from one device, controlling the operation of the other device. Hence, the Bridge functions provide no "backup" capabilities at all.

Rather, I recommend you review this post to learn of the various backup capabilities for your BB:

Good luck!
