How to fix a Blackberry that won’t detect SIM Cards or signal

My Blackberry has been showing SOS for days now while my friends phones are receiving signal. What could be causing this?

You need to do a battery PULL. If that doesnt work,  consider testing your friends sim cards on your phone and your sim card on theirs. See  How to fix a Blackberry that won’t detect SIM Cards or signal
