Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
To clarify are you saying after you updated the applications they are no long on the BlackBerry® smartphone? Or did you update the software on the BlackBerry® smartphone?
Try checking to see if the applications are listed in your applications. Go to Options > Advanced Options > Applications> If the applications are listed delete the applications and re-install from BlackBerry® App World.
