I lost my data on Blackberry protect

Hello,

I'am very confused and I hope that you can help me.

I change my mobile provider, and before to put my new simcard on my blackberry torch 9800, I reset completely my phone. Then I put my new simcard on it; then i went to blackberry protect to restore my data. But unfortunally all my old back up disappeared and a new back was made.

So I want to know how I can found my last good back from May 28th? Because this back have all my phonebook, all my important datas. Just a few minutes ago before to start blackberry protect with the new simcard, I still have this back up from May 28th.

Please help me

thx

Re: I lost my data on Blackberry protect

Hey ben576,

My apologies, that KB article explains why it happened.

The backup file will not be able to be retrieved through BlackBerry® Protect™.  Did you create a backup file on a PC or Mac?

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.
