I started a download and it is frozen on STARTING DOWNLOAD in blackberry apps. how do i restart the download?

Hello,

another user has found a solution to this problem and posted it in these forums. The main idea is to clear the AppWorld cache :
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3 Clear the cache :
- For Storm & Pearl devices : show the keyboard, hold the num-lock ("!?123") button so it locks and then hit the three characters : 3 4 (
- For other devices: hold down the ALT key and press the three keys R S T
4. If your devie is locked after that, perform a battery pull reboot.
 Please tell us if this solves your issue.

A few weeks ago I downloaded an app and then decided to uninstall it. Being as indecisive as I am I re-downloaded it and now it is stuck in "ready to install" mode" only i cant install it. Ihave tried to reset apps world (hold alt RST) but nothing happends. Are there any other solutions? please help I am at a loss. thank you.:smileyhappy:

i am having the same problem, completely frozen on app world only, an application says ready to install when i already have it and bbapp world upgrade is in mid install completely frozen, i tried alt rst  nothing help>>>
