Hi,
Unfortunately the reboot didn't work for me.
Still stuck in infinate loop of authentications.
I eventually created another 2 new Blackberry Id's in case something had gone wrong. I can log into any of them on my mac... but can't log in on my phone (8520).
It's been months. Am ready to throw phone from tall building.
Help appreciated.

Hello helenw,
Do you have your WI-Fi connected? If so, turn it off.
If you go to Options>Advanced Options>Browser, is your browser set to Internet Browser?

Check your default browser under Options>Advanced Options>Browser - it is set to Internet Browser?

Hello Goji and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Is your Wi-Fi turned on? If so, turn it off.
Also, check your default browser to ensure its set to Internet Browser by going to Options>Advanced Options>Browser

I am having exactly the same problem as helenw - I get past "authenticating", but then I get stuck on the "loading" screen. I have also tried removing and re-installing App World, I have turned off the Wi-Fi connection and ensured the browser is to set to Internet Browser.
Still no joy. Have you got any further suggestions?

No Wifi switched on, and the browser is set to Internet Browser. Still no luck with logging in though. ![]()

If you could all let me know what BlackBerry device model you are using, the software version you have installed (under Options>About>3rd line down) and your mobile carrier provider, I will look into it further.

Mine is a Blackberry 8520, I think the software version is v5.0.0.681 (platform 5.2.0.67) and my mobile carrier is Vodafone (am in the UK).

Mine is a Blackberry Bold 9700
Software v5.0.0.862
Platform 5.1.0.175
My carrier is also Vodafone in the UK - do you think that is relevant or just a coincidence?
