MIDlet-missing on torch 9810

Hi there
I have a BB torch 9810, every time I try to download bb application world from the bb website, I get a MIDlet-name missing message. I have tried rebooting, I cannot reinstall/update OS because my service provider does not allow me to. Please advise on how to solve the problem

Re: MIDlet-missing on torch 9810

Hey Rodneyr,

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

We would suggest removing BlackBerry App World and then reinstall and test.

1. Go to options.
2. Select Device.
3. Select Application Management.
4. Highlight BlackBerry App World.
5. Press the Menu key and choose Delete.
6. Reboot and visit www.blackBerry.com/appworld.

Thanks.
