Make it stop

How do I keep App World from running in the background and taking resources and battery power?

Re: Make it stop

Close it.

Menu > Close.

Afterwards, hit Switch Application and scroll across and you will not see it present.

Re: Re: Make it stop

That doesn't work, nor does a power cycle on my Storm.

Re: Re: Make it stop

It works for me.

Don't power cycle. Pull the battery WHILE powered ON.

Reboot and look at App Switcher again.

Is your AppWorld listed?

Hey CTC_Tech,

Glad to hear you got it working. A hard reset (Battery Pull) is usually always a better option then a soft reset (Alt+Shift+Del)

Hey All,

Just to add to my previous post, I neglected to provide the knowledge base article that discusses hard, soft and master resets. Here it is for any who are interested.
