Well, in your other thread where you posted, you never ever actually answered my key question.

I'll repeat: have you actually attempted to download and install AppWorld v4.0.0.55?

See resolution #4 in this thread:  BlackBerry App World icon is missing after upgrading to BlackBerry App World 4.0.0.63

I have done that severally, I have downloaded v4.0.0.63 & .55 respectively yet the problem's still there. I download, it installed, restart but the icon wouldn't show ! Pls what next ?

After seeing an upgrade about App World I did upgrade then suddenly after rebooting my phone the whole App World application disappeared. What should I do in this problem so stressed?

I upgraded the app world to .65. Several times. I still do not find any icon anywhere. no hidden settings!!

I have a BB Torch 9800 OS6 w/ the same missing BB App World & Twitter icon issue after upgrading both & I have to change it to OS5???

No, you do not have to change to OS5. There is no such thing as OS 5 for the 9800.

Do this, using your BlackBerry browser:

you can download an older working version of AppWorld v4.0.0.55.

This has been posted multiple times in this thread as the current workaround.
