Hi, I purchased a blackberry torch 9810 yesterday and everytime I click on something on the app world it says please wait and never loads up
For example there is a facebook update and I clcik to download it, it continuously says please wait
Does anyone know why this is? Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
4. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
5. Return to AppWorld. Log into MyWorld (if applicable) and try again.

When I try this suggestion and go to App World, when I click on 'My World' (as instructed here), I get "Please Wait". So at least for me this is not solved, as I can't do the subsequent suggestions. I cannot add ANY applications via App World to my Bold 9930. Every app I try to install via App World, I get the green circle of death, with the words 'Please Wait'. I've waited and Waited, and ultimately I will need to reboot.
I have made sure I have the most current blackberry software, and I've just re-installed (and rebooted) with a fresh 'App World'. Now I'm having to (yet again) reboot the phone.
All I can do is look with envy at my friends with their iOS and Android apps, while all I can do is 'Please Wait' with my empty blackberry. Suggestions anyone?

Hi and Welcome to the Community (and apologies for the late reply)!!
In your case, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Resend Service Books
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
