for the last 3 days I've had problems accessing MyWorld on App World on my BB9780
I can launch App World but when I go into MyWorld it just says 'please wait' then hangs and I have to take the battery out of my BB and restart
Also when I try to link an existing app on my phone with my BB ID it says its not available and I can't access my email settings to change them.
I am still receiving emails, the software version on my phone is 6.0 bundle 3049

Hello !
There is an alternative for your problem to resolve.
What you do is connect your BlackBerry Smartphone with USB cable to Internet enabled desktop/laptop.
Go to the link mentioned below:
http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/
On top right of the page there is a option "Sign In".
Login with your BlackBerry ID and password.
From here you can download all as you do it for Appworld.

Had to roll back to Software version 6.0 Bundle 1879 before I could update Blackberry ID successfully.
Then I updated to 3049 and found the problem recurred.
I have rolled badk to 1879 and will stay there for now.
