I have a BB Bold 9780 and would like to download the spotify app as I am a premium customer. On the spotify page at BB App world it list my phone as compatable with the App but when I scan the bar code it say on my phone that it is NOT compatable for this device!

Can anyone explain this and solve it??

It appears it should.

In AppWorld on your BlackBerry, can't you just click directly on the Download link?

I have the same problem with my Bold 9930. It says that it is a compatible device. Hitting the QR code says it isn't and I can't even find the app while doing a search on the smartphone.

Upon further investigation: 

"The Item is not available for your Device Model, Device OS, Carrier and Country combination."

So Verizon Wireless has me by the short hairs again.

Yep, it is available in the US and for the 9930 model, but Verizon is not listed as a supported carrier.
