I'm U.S. user, on a Bold, AT&T SIM, non BES (do not have Desktop IPPP service book), operating in strong 3G environment, turned off WiFi, plenty of free memory.
Bold was purchased legally unlocked and branded "T-Mobile," as phone was acquired from Deutche Telekom/T-Mobile in Germany. Phone has full functionality on AT&T network since it's running on AT&T SIM w/BB data plan.
Originally downloaded BB App World release 18.104.22.168 on 01 April. "BB App World unable to connect to BB App World Server" for first 24+ hours.
Finally downloaded Shazam on 02 April, but all other app download attempts greeted with "BB App World unable to connect to BB App World Server."
Deleted release 22.214.171.124 and then downloaded release 126.96.36.199 on 03 April. Still getting response "BB App World unable to connect to BB App World Server."
Anyone @ RIM still working on this?
