You need to ask that question of the App Developer, a link for which should be on the AppWorld catalog page.
But, in general...all apps must be ported to all BB models and major OS level combinations. That's a lot of porting, and not all developers choose to do them all. It's their business decision to make, and only they could answer a "why" question such as this.
