Hi, pls help! I downloaded, when encouraged, the
Latest version of app world, yesterday (14th May).
The icon is now gone. The same has happened on
My friends exact model. Checked the options/adv.
Options, everythings ok, done a full reboot, bbm is
Still available, email still working. Can anyone help
Pls. Would be v. Much appreciated! Thanks

1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc.
If you still don't see it, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed there?

Hi, thanks, but had already tried all of that (as I explained) and none of it has worked, but tried again and still not there! Any more suggestions??!

ok, well you had not said all the things you had tried then... just making suggestions.

You need to call your mobile service provider and report this and ask that the issue be escalated up to RIM level tech support.

Hi, I downloaded the newer version of App World and icon dissappeared on me. I tried "Show All" search , I deleted and re installed, I did a device wipe and restore my phone data and tried again but failed again and finally I tried to upgrade my software but there isn't one available for my curve. So end result all failed. I'm able to login via site bt unable to download cos it's merely for account info. Is there a special site where I can download the icon to my home screen?

I have the same problem I have done everything! I have also done back up and restore, re installed bb app world and I have even wiped my curve and started from scratch but still no joy. Please camn someone help many thanks
