blackberry Id Update

When i try to set up for blackberry protect I am ask to do blackberry id update and when i do it I get error as "the software upgrade was interrupted. please try again.

See this KB:

  • KB29300 "A BlackBerry Identity update is needed" message appears when launching BlackBerry App World 3.1

While it may be older and perhaps not specific to your BB OS, the intent is the same...remove the Identity app, (optional) reboot the BB, return to the app that was prompting for the update, and then complete the Identity update process.
