I updated my blackberry app world and since the icon is no longer in the home page. I removed and reinstalled, still the same thing. Help me, I have a headache just by trying to find a solution.

If you device OS is prior to 6.0.0.706 then try Updating your device software or Download App World version 4.0.0.55 which is the best workaround now available.For App World also uninstall app world from Options > Device > Application Management > Locate and delete App World , then perform another Battery pull restart .

Then From your BlackBerry Browser browse to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3 to download version 4.0.0.55 . In addition check this Knowledge Base for further help :

Thanks for the quick reply. I followed the instructions to the browser but the page is no longer valid. Is there other possibilitie? Thanks for your help.

That link is valid , it can be access from our BlackBerry Browser , just perform a Battery pull reboot as stated earlier then from your BlackBerry device don't type just click here http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3  . It will allow you to download version 4.0.0.55.

So please try it again .
