endless 'starting download'

PLEASE help me out!!

i was trying to download 2 apps.. but they are stuck in the ''starting download' for hours!! and there is no option for me to pause it or cancel it.. =p 

i already downloaded other apps after i tried to start these ones.. and they went just fine!

i already tried deleting the app world app and downloaded it again, but everytime i do this it keeps my information (like the apps ive already downloaded)

what should i do??? =/

For now, try this:

 

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

I have the same issue. Stuck with apps in "downloading" but no action being taken. Bigger concern is that its eating into my broadband connection when I use it with PC. Does endless cycling/attempts to complete this failing download take up bandwidth?

Hello,

another user has found a solution to this problem and posted it in these forums. The main idea is to clear the AppWorld cache :
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3 Clear the cache :
- For Storm & Pearl devices : show the keyboard, hold the num-lock ("!?123") button so it locks and then hit the three characters : 3 4 (
- For other devices: hold down the ALT key and press the three keys R S T
4. If your devie is locked after that, perform a battery pull reboot.
 Please tell us if this solves your issue.
