Hey guys I found a solution! This will work for all, I have done testing on three different blackberry and all worked. Oky so firstly you will require any bbm connected application the best one I found was pixelated! Oky if you have pixelated allready installed on your phone you spare yourself a great peace of time. Just open pixelated (it has to be the latest version) it will automatically connect to bbm and start to verify your I'd with the app world. Make sure you restart your phone when it asks you to and there you go! All fixed if you don't have any bbm connected apps on your phone you will need to download a bbm conneected app like pixelated to your computer and then install it onto your phone! And follow the steps above! If you need any more help don't hesitate to contact me! theuniss@live.co.za

I also have a blackberry tried the same thing. also nothing is working i phone my provider aswell and the cant even help me i tried mailing no luck im getting really frustrated i wish the can assist us

hello all....

i have a bold 9700 and  have the same problem, its  getting so annoying  now cause i am not getting any updates what so ever.. has  anyone fixed  there erro 80003 by now?? and how can it be done?? because i have tried to even reset my password  for my BB ID but that doesnt work either...... this is getting real annoying

On Os5 phones, go to Options, Advanced Options, TCP/IP. Select APN wich is the first box. Under it next to APN type Internet. Save it and it will work. On OS6 phones, go to options, device, at the bottom Advanced System Settings, go to TCP IP. Select the first box and next to APN type "Internet". Your BlackBerry Id will download. It will ask to restart your device, do so and if you then go it to your App World, My Account, it will prompt you to a blue screen where you need to log in. Tell me if you do not succeed :Clap:

@ffaro: You are my hero of the week (make that 3 cause thats how long I've been trying to fix this error).
I've tried all the other suggestions - from deleting BB Protect and upgrading and downgrading and all kinds of other crazy stuff.

Hi there. The same error here 80003 regarding a blackberry I'd update needed. Can't use BB app world. Tried to reinstall the BB app. Updated my ID password through my PC and BB. Restored a previously working backup that I had. Wiped all applications and reistalled BB app through the application centre as I can't use the BB app for that. Treid a whole lot of other things like changing timezones to automatic and so on. Created new I'd. Reboot the phone a few times. Tried to downgrade to a previous version of BB app but it does not seem to downgrade but rather upgrade or keeps the same version. Still get the error. .............. I don't have anymore. ......... The solution to this one should be interesting. Please assist. :smileysad:
