problem with latest app world version

I have upgraded to the latest version and now have problems purchasing apps. My daughter's does the same. We are also unable to go into payment options. Was wondering if this is perhaps a bug?

Sadly, "have problems" is a bit sparse to try and guess at anything useful. Is there an error message? If so, then the exact and complete contents of that would be most helpful indeed.

Hi
The error I keep receiving is 'An error has occurred while setting up billing through your service provider'. I never had this problem on the previous version. I can also not open the payment options as it just makes a circle which disappears. I have tried deleting, rebooting and installing app world again but its still the same.

I am still sitting with the same problem. I have tried the advice from other posts but nothing helps. My time zone appears to be correct. I am from South Africa and I have it set to Harare +2. Don't know what else to do. Very disappointed. Don't think I'll invest in another Blackberry again.

Hello...apologies for the delayed reply!

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB24551 "An error has occurred while setting up billing through your Service Provider. Please try again" appears when wireless service provider billing on a Wi-Fi connection is used to purchase an application through BlackBerry App World
