Anytime I try to get an app, either from appworld or from a company site that send me to appworld I get this error.
"Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World Server. Verify your network connections and try again"

I have re loaded the bb appworld and have the latest version for my new bb bold 9900, but still get the error then lock up. Turn off, turn on and get a message that I had a unknown error.

People have had this issue since 2010. I never had this problem with my Torch or my bold 9000.
Does anyone know what's going on? I also have the latest OS on my 9900.

Found a solution! Lol! How retarded. I had changed my email in bb Id. So, after changing it from one gmail acct to another, I changed it back and baaammmm! Problem solved, but don't know why it should be a problem in the first place right?

Good luck to you guys who don't have the option of reverting back to another email. :smileysad:

I have the same problem with blackberry curve 8520 exept i purchased an app it send me the reciet and the money came out but i didnt get the app. plus i had to wait quite a while on hold and they never left me off hold so i paid 25p after trying the helpline

I have same problem, my gsm operator VodafoneTR, I have BiS. Mailing and BBM working fine but i just having trouble with App World :/   I don't know what I have to do?

There are several KB that discuss that error. I suggest you go here:

and search on the exact error message. Hopefully something there will be useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message or code, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

Hey Dude, it depends on the plan...i have some info here ..hope tha''ll help you

 

plan of INR 129 - only email

plan of INR 239/359/289 - only email and bbm 

 

PLAN OF INR - 599/699 - EMAIL , BBM , APPSTORE , AND BROWSING .

 maybe this ur prob...check with service provider
