May I take an intervention on your subject.
I had to have my BlackBerry ID deleted some good time back, was quite difficult.
After backing up my data, I believe that it was my network provider/carrier I required to help me create my new BlackBerry ID.
I hope I have got the gist of what your attempting to do.

Im glad you provided me with a suggestion I havent tried yet as I thought Blackberry ID issues will not be related to a carrier...kind of weird though...haha...im grateful to you...will contact my service provider ASAP.

Yes, this was my thought at first, this may be because of security reason that companies are the only point of connact, via our providers.
