Hello,

Please provide the exact and complete error message, including any codes it may contain. There are many possibilities, and the exact message will hopefully guide to a proper resolution.

Thanks and let us know!

Re: show the error when buy any app from credit card.

Hi, I'm having the same issue. It says 'There is a problem with your credit card authorisation. Please try again or visit blackberry.com/appworld/support. Error Id: 11000'
I have called my bank, & there is no issue with my credit card on their end. My country Nigeria doesn't support pay pal, & I have sufficient funds in my account. I've run out of options. Will be glad if anyone can help. Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB28192 "(ErrorId: 11000)" occurs when attempting to purchase applications from App World or change payment information

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

Also, please triple check all payment methods you have associated to AppWorld...if any one of them has any error at all (e.g., incorrect credit card expiration date), it can prevent ALL of them from functioning, even those that do not have any errors.

Good luck and let us know!

If you mean to now say that you have performed some OS reload or other function on your device (there is no such thing as "reformat" on a BB), then that possibly could be causal. As such, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):

1) Register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
  • Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app

2) Resend Service Books

  • KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

3) Batt Pull Reboot

  • With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

Good luck!

Consequently, you likely fall into what the KB states:

  • This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

If the workarounds do not work, then there is no resolution for you. Perhaps you can try the steps I provided to the other posted in this thread, in the post just above this one.

Good luck!

Re: show the error when buy any app from credit card.

Does anyone have any update on the issue. It's impossible for me to make any purchases on the BB World.

Quite cynical seeing how BB is trying to get developers excited but then the payment infrastructure won't let you purchase anything.
