Try this. Go to options-advanced options-applications.
Delete app world from there. Do a battery pull.
Then put this address in your www.browser
http://m.blackberry.com/us/en/blackberry-app-world.html
Down load it from there and it should be back in your download folder

I still have no luck ....I've tried everything . Please if somebody can fix this add me and let me kno pleeeeeaaaaassssseeee 2733AAAC . I have a bb torch 9800 woth os 6 ...says its the latest versions .

I'm no expert at this but just to be clear on your comment about being up to date if you go to Options/Device/Software Updates you have the most up to date version of OS 6.0? 

That is what my problem was.  I had to update a couple of bundles to OS 6.0 .  Once I did my App World Icon reappeared in the same place it had always used to be.

Hey BBfan ...yeah it says "Current version 6.0 bundle 695". And as soon as I go in it throws out a message saying "unable to send request for available updates"...

I'd suggest you wait until the next upgrade is available.

I have already got the upgrade but I'm to scared to do it ...so I'd rather not .

hi i've also downloaded, rebooted, and registered MULTIPLE times and i still haven't found the icon and now my apps need to be updated and i can't because i don't know where my app world is!

Resolution 1

On BlackBerry 6 OS versions prior to 6.0.0.706 and the App World Icon is not visible, please download and install the BlackBerry App World 4.0.0.55.

1. Open the BlackBerry Browser on the BlackBerry smartphone.
2. Browse to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3
3. After download, please restart your BlackBerry smartphone when prompted.
4. Verify that BlackBerry App World is located on the home screen.
