753 times resent email

I have a a personal Email for my website but based on Yahoo, since the 12th of April till the 15th , the same email with a two picture attachment of 3.1 Mb was sent for 753 times to the same email . this resulted in a 2.5 Gb Data usage and a 563 Euros Bill from my Carrier.  Can somebody Explain what happened, will it happen again and who is responsible for this.

I had a hosted client of mine that had this happen to him with his iPhone while roaming internationally, we never did figure out what caused the loop. But it only ever happened with that one email message.

 

I suggest that you contact your carrier's BlackBerry trained support team and have them investigate the issue, if they cannot figure it out.. they should escalate you to BlackBerry support. Make sure to get the name of every person you talk to, and to ask for your incident / ticket number, this will help them to 'pay attention' a little better than normal. If you have any issues getting escalated to BlackBerry, make sure you ask for their supervisor and force the issue.

 

You may even get a credit from your carrier if you can determine that it was an issue with either the phone or their service. :smileyhappy:

This happened in my #Z10 last week. I went and deleted the original email and all resends and the issues ceased.

I thought it is best to be on the safe side, took the phone back to Orange and they replaced the phone with a new one . Now hopefully this will not happen again , also I installed a data Monitor app. Just in case.

 

But stil i am curious how this did happen, what is the cause.

Mine stopped like I said.

I had four pics attached with about ~4mb.

 

I'd say it's a glitch alright, but doing what I mentioned above fixed. It hasn't happened again with me.

The same thing is happening to mine.   I sent emails containing pictures to 3 different people at different times.  I was wondering why my phone was very warm and the battery went dead in 30 minutes.  Each email was sent over 50 times.
