ATT to Verizon

I had ATT with the Z10.  Just switched over to Verizon and got another Z10.  Why can't I move my info over from the ATT z10?

Re: ATT to Verizon

I looked up this article concerning device switches:

Another option is to call Verizon and see if they can help with moving your info over.  Do you still have both devices?

Re: ATT to Verizon

You can, if you have devices in hand, and if the OS of the new Verizon Z10 is a higher release than the existing ATT device.

On both, what is the Settings > About > OS version?

Re: ATT to Verizon

I've tried this numerous times but I get an error saying the two devices are not compatible.

dlfaber, please check my post just above and answer?

ALSO, do you still have BOTH devices in-hand, and is there specific data you want transferred.. like contacts?

What else?

Re: ATT to Verizon

Your docs and pics should be on the media card. If you have some saved IN the device memory, move those files over to the media card. Open the File manager icon > scroll to the device memory, find the files, select > Move and navigate back the media card tab and select the folder in which you want them > and those touch SELECT HERE at the top.

You should ALSO sync this media through the BlackBerry Link software on your PC., so you have it ON your PC as a backup.

For the contacts, I would advise you to install an app InTouch Contacts from appworld, on both devices. It is free.

Back up your contacts on the ATT device to this app, then restore them with this same app and account login on the Verizon model
