I have been trying to add a contact who has an 8703e blackberry but the add won't work. They can see and accept my invitation but it just comes into my HUB as a notification, saying I can accept it after installing BBM. Of course, I have BBM already installed. I didn't have this issue with contacts who have newer phones.
Is there anything I can do?

If the users try to add your BBM PIN number, does the same result happen? Also is it just affecting this one user or all users?

This is only happening with one of my contacts. The rest have added no problem. Of course, they have newer devices than the 8703e...
He had tried adding my PIN and adding me by email, I have tried scanning his barcode and adding his PIN. He receives my invites and accepts them, but his acceptance just goes to my notifications in HUB and never makes it to BBM.
His PIN also shows up in his contact information in my phone contacts list. I have tried using "invite to BBM" button beside his PIN but the same issue happened when he accepted the invite.
This is quite frustrating and texting is just not the same as BBM.
I appreciate any suggestions!

From the detailed information you provided, we will need to gather some logs from both the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry 8703e to find the root cause.
Please contact your network service provider and ask to be transferred to BlackBerry.
