And as if by magic, I can now BBM my contact now without any issues. I had done a reload of my Z10 OS, but still couldn't message my contact, but as of a couple of hours ago this seems to have resolved itself.

well nothing is happening with mine and its been like this for almost a week... hard to be patient when BB is constantly giving trouble.

i can recieve a PIN message but BBM isnt working at all with any contacts now on Z10, just shows the grey tick. cant even see updates ect

You need to call MTN and report the issue, and have it escalated up to BlackBerry technical support.

Went to MTN again, tech guy said there is no issue with the network at all and all my settings are correct. Still not working, so I am waiting for them to let me know when the BlackBerry rep and techs with be in again.

They should escalate the issue for you & give you an incident number & phone number.
