BBM PUSH DELAY

upgraded to blackberry z10 using normal data plan.

 

when the phone is idle bbm is also idle and will not receive message

 

is there a setting now that lets bbm be always active at the background. on my bold 9900 even phone is lock message is pushed real time. but now with the new z10 it seems message is not pushed properly and feels like bbm is signed out when idle

 

im i missing some setting?

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

 

Messages should always be received assuming you are connected to Wi-Fi or your mobile network with an active data plan.

 

Are you connected to Wi-Fi or the mobile data network when you experience this issue? Does it occur on both?

 

Have you attempted restarting your device?

did a restart. same. it seems even email is not working well.

 

but i connect it to wifi the whole day and it worked fine for email and bbm

 

im on a unlimitted data plan. from my previous phone (gs3) no problem with data connection.

 

would a os upgrade solve the problem? currently im on 10.0.10.30 stl 100-2

 

or is it a hardware problem? or a network problem? (i dont think its a network problem. since my gs3 dont have the issue)

I found the solution to this problem.

Request from your network provider to resend service book of your internet plan. Either bis or normal internet plan. It worked for me
