So is the only way out of this mess now to hit "continue" when that option is presented, and then proceeed to somehow reestablish all your contacts?? Has the "device switch" and/or "email" options not worked for anybody?? I was faced with the same error message last week Tuesday, but the "device switch" option worked on the first attempt then and all was good until Friday evening. I'd rather wait and use the email or switch routes than have to re-invite all my BBM contacts.

Also escalated to BB on Saturday. No resolution in sight. I have a Z10 to evaluate as potential replacement for a fleet of 9700's, but this is not going in BlackBerry's favour. It's hard to recommend the new device to a bunch of employees who want an iPhone....

Had the exact same issue since Friday. Nothing worked (battery-pull), wake, and constant device resets) so I selected the continue option and wiped all my BBM contacts and history.
Any idea if I can obtain all my past contacts despite not having my older BB in possession anymore?
Very frustrating to say the least.

Until when this temporary error will remain?? temporary for one year?

I tried adding my work emails (Company Domain from Sites and Stores) here but its not letting me do that.
I called Telstra they added from there end and is still not working.
They send me service books twice i received nothing and they said i might need to delete existing service books which i cant find on my handset.
The emails i am trying to add is currently working on my BOLD it is not on Z10. I cant even manually add them on the phone. Firstly it ask for email Id and then password and then says The email provider is not trustworthy you like to proceed i click yes to go ahead after 1 minute it goes Make sure your email address and password are entered correctly.
Could anyone please help or may have got the same problem.

I dont know if that will fix the problem or not
(I am not having that problem but my wife does, and she ended up pressing continue and adding her contacts manually).
Just read at N4BB.COM app on my z10 that there is a leaked OS 10.0.10.648 for Z10.
It can be downloaded at d-h.st/AY8 but only can work on z10 model STL100-3 and mine is STL100-1.
(To know the model, go to settings > abbout > and look for model number).
Hope that helps and someone can confirm if it will fix any issues.
I hope the official OS update be released soon to overcome the most common bugs
