BBM unable to complete setup

Hi,

I always had BB devices, and everything was working fine. 

My new Z10 can't complete the BBM setup.

I keep getting the "BBM is unable to connect to the server" massage...

What should I do?

Thanks for the question.

 

Are you switching your BlackBerry ID from a different BlackBerry smartphone to this BlackBerry Z10?  Also do you have a data connection (able to browse, send emails).  Also are you connected via Wi-Fi?

 

Do you also receive the error Temporary Server Error?

Hi,

yes, I am switching my BB id from different BB to the Z10.

I do have a data connection, and I do have a connected Wi-Fi.

I do not receive the "Temporary Server Error".

all I receive is : " BBM is unable to connect to the server. Please try again later".

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

Thanks for the quick reply.

 

We will need to gather some logs from the BlackBerry Z10 to find the root cause.  Please contact your network service provider and ask to be transferred to BlackBerry.

I have the same problem with my BlackBerry q10, I tried taking out the battery, switching off wi fi, even went to the extremes of wiping off everything...Please help, nothing seems to work..all the other apps work just fine, only bbm "cannot complete setup, unable to connect to server"

I have the same problem with my blackberry 9630 I tried switching fom my other device to this one but the black berry unable to set up my bbm with this error "we cannot access ur device make sure ur date and time is correctly set" have tried a million times to set d date and time but the problem persist. What can I do
