Re: BCC to self on Z10

I agree I hope it gets fixed soon.  Thanks to the last completely and totally useless/destructive/waste of space OS upgrade (I'm not happy with it! :smileyhappy: )my emails get sent from the BB but DO NOT appear in the sent folder or even the hub...in fact they just disappear entirely!!!  The only way I can get a copy of any email I've sent is to BCC or CC myself so that it appears in my Inbox rather than my - empty - sent folder!!! But I also have to mauallly insert my email address every time. Pain in the rectum!!!

As I expected though - no word from BB as to when this would be fixed or even acknowledged - but then what do I expect....I'm only a customer after all!!!

Danny, just a reminder:  This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel rarely comment on queries posted here. You would have noticed this in the message upon registration.

Don't expect us, users just like yourself, to answer for BlackBerry, we don't.

Re: BCC to self on Z10

yeah no probs I realise that, but the comment i was making was because I did actually email Rim/BB themselves twice about the email situation with absolutely no response.

I do appreciate any help from other users but I am disappointed with BB support. :-(

Re: BCC to self on Z10

what type of email service are you using and is it POP, IMAP or Active Sync?

POP and IMAP will not let you see sent items but Active Sync will.

I am IMAP, and I can see on my BlackBerry device items sent from my desktop Outlook or email server.

Correct on POP, those will not appear as described.

I am also with IMAP on a few accounts, and like JSanders, I can see all my sent item no matter which device (computer, Z10, PlayBook) I used to send the message

Re: BCC to self on Z10

there isn´t solution yet?

really is necessary this when you using cellphone and notebook to work, and your server doesn´t bring you the option for automatic CCO.

the old SO on BB9700 had it, I don´t know why now forgot this skill!
