BLACKBERRY Z10 HUB

Hello,

Just received yesterday my new BB Z10.

I have big troubles using it. Below the problems :

- BlackBerry HUB is missing

- Message application is not working

- Impossible to reorganize the icons.

I already installed the last device software update as request after the first connection.

Is this problem coming from the device ? the software ?

The phone worked correctly during 30 minutes yesterday and after a first restart impossible to recover the Hub.

If you have any idea to solve this issue.

If you are not seeing the Hub at all, Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Hi Sanders,

Thank you for your feedback.

For sure I did all the preliminary procedures before disturbing the forum members.

In fact the fixture is solved since 3.45 pm....I plugged again my BBZ10 to Lync and a second device software update was suggested. 10.0.1.99 or something like this. And now everything is working perfectly ! Except sync of calendar and contacts but it seams that this problem is current taking in consideration the several posts on tweeter and forums....Right now I am trying to fix this new problem hope that after the weekend I can fully use my new device and enjoy this new experience. Anyway appart these problem this new device is amazing and I really like it. I was afraid by loosing the physical keyboard and the feeling of first minutes was strange but now everything is ok ! Thank you again for your support.

Hi,

 

My HUB screen is blank. I cant see anything when i slide over to the hub. When I tap BBM, Text Messages, Contacts, Browser etc.... nothing works. I have tried all the usual things like re-booting, battery pull etc. Nothing has helped so far.

 

I tried security wipe .. All my data got wiped but My hub has not returned. The only thing that is working is the software update. I dont know of this will help either.

 

Has this problem been reported earlier? If so is there a step by step procedure available?

After the wipe and during your setup, did you log in your BBID?

yes I did log in with my bbid

however post the update everything is working fine now.

hi

sorry I can't really pin point what caused it. the phone was fine all day and in the evening the hub just disappeared.

so tried everything and the update worked.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be the fact that the previous attempt at downloading the update might be the issue as that was the only major event prior to the incident. However logically I don't see why an interrupted download would be an issue as installation had not yet begun.
