OK, first of all, did you try calling t-mo tech support? When I had an issue, they connected me with BBerry support (who resolved my issue). There has to be a warranty that comes with the phone, even if it means sending it in to be repaired.

Yeah, I know that. But there has to be a regular warranty under which you can get the phone repaired. You need to go through T-Mo tech (forget the store), get bounced up to T-mo's BBerry division, talk through the issue and see if they will get you over to BBerry and somehow resolve. Buy's remorse period is NOT the same as a regular warranty.

Mine worked great for the first 3 weeks then found that both google and byng screens were locking. Nothing seemed to work so I did a security wipe. And then had to do it again in another 3 weeks, then again in another 3 weeks. Just did it again last night.
When I checked for updates, it (happily) showed an update. Downloaded that too every time I did a security wipe, problem was, it kept on downloading the same update.
Yesterday, just to test, downloaded the new update, then went back into settings and saw there was another update. Downloaded that but found it was the SAME update. With my last security wipe I havent bothered to d/l the update until I get some indication BB is addressing all this stuff.
Otherwise I'll take it back for an exchange and see how that goes.
BB - get on the ball, folks! I DO NOT want to go back to an iPhone. I waited 3 years for the Z10 and even broke my Rogers contract to get it.

Unfortunately, I too suffered the same fate, I called BlackBerry Tech. Support and they had me try several options, all of which were unsuccessful. BlackBerry then called AT&T and I was able to go to a Device Support Center and pick up a new one...
