This is most likely due to a app update issue. The BB Music workaround should fix thhe problem. Go to BB Music. Tap the three dots and selet blackberry world. Go to My World and them My Apps and Check for updates and download your updates. Post this, the app world should function normally.

Go to BlackBerry World on your PC, login with your BlackBerry ID, be sure that the correct device is selected in "Displaying info for" at the top, find the app and click Download. Wait some time or launch BlackBerry World on your device - it will still install the app even in this broken state. Works for me :-)

Wow! This worked! No updates were found after selecting Check For Updates, however. What's strange is that I have a small red icon in the top right corner of My World icon since yesterday. Ususally, it's there when an update is available but there are no updates currently. Seems like it's stuck there.

still nothing :smileysad:
when i tap on it 
it jus goes to a loading screen and stay loading....
swipe to the left i see my world but its not connected

however if i download something using my PC login to blackberry world it pops up on the phone and i can download but i cant go on browsing from other app from the phone, have to use the PC login...

I have the same issue. Two days now. Not able to delete this app and download again since it was preloaded by BB.

Not to mention that my phone freezes every other day. Great job RIM. So much for the enhanced OS....
