Blackberry Z10 DEAD DEAD DEAD - HELP!

Recently installed the 10.2.0.1791 for my Blackberry Z10 STL100-1 after having issues with a previous leak OS. BBM was losing its connection frequentlyand Word Substitution wasn't working so I decide to update with a new leak. Last night my battery was extremely low and BBM lost its connection so I plugged the phone into the charger and attempted to restart the phone to clear the BBM lost connection error. I briefly left the phone and went off to do something and when I came back and looked at the phone it hadn't turned back on. I noticed the LED light briefly turned red then amber then they were no lights. I took the battery out and put it back in but the phone wouldn't turn on. My blackberry is completely DEAD and unresponsive. It is not recognizable by my PC nor  is using Internet Explorer navigate to www.BlackBerry.com/updates working. I also tired taking the battery out and plugging the phone into different USB ports while using Application Loader but nothing works.  I left the phone charging all night, woke up and it's still dead.

My brother who lives in Qatar bought the blackberry as a gift for me on a trip to the US before coming home to Barbados for vacation.

I'm in love with my Z10 and any help in solving the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Although you've said you did, keep the Z10 charging connected to the OEM wall outlet charger.

Every few hours, still connected to the charger, remove and reinsert the battery.

Do you see any LED or on-screen activity?

There's no LED or on screen activity.

I am so arranging to meet up with a friend who also has a Z10. Will put his charged battery in my phone to see if the phone responds.

Like you said I will keep it charging. Fingers crossed I get it back up and running.

Re: Blackberry Z10 DEAD DEAD DEAD - HELP!

I took the Z10 to a technician on Monday after I met up with my friend, tried his z10 battery in my phone and got no response.

The technician just called me saying that he was unable get the Z10 to turn on after leaving it charging for two days and testing the board for power. I'm extremely sadden by this. I'm now somewhat scared of getting another blackberry but at the same time I am tempted because I love Blackberry so I've already been checking out the Q10. What troubles me though is the fact that there have been way too many Z10's not turn back on after the battery gets very low.

If anyone can suggest anything else to try I'll be thankful.

Do that, keep it charging for several hours.

THEN, KEEP it connected to your wall outlet charger and then press and hold all four external buttons (top edge power button and the Up, down, and center mute buttons for about 20 seconds.

I don't know that this wil work, but I read another post here by a users who said this did.
