Blackberry Z10 - Mobile Network wont switch on

Dear Everyone, 

 

I have just bought a new Blackberry Z10, I have put in my simcard but the Mobile Network wont switch on it always says ' Turning Cellular Services On' it goes on for ages and nothing happens.

What version of BlackBerry 10 software are you using?  Go to settings>About to find this information.  Also have you tried a different SIM card in the BlackBerry Z10?

Thank you for replying.

 

Im using OS Verison: 10.0.9.2372

 

Yes, i have tried nothing seems to work, only thing im getting now is that it says emergency calls only. but still my mobile network wont switch on.

 

I have seen in the forum other people with a similar problem, i have bought an unblocked Z10.

Thanks for the question.

 

This definitely sounds like a network related issue.  If you tried a different SIM card and you're seeing the same issue, then I would suggest contacting your point of sale for exchange options as there is an activation issue.

Hi, I had the same issue and it took me a while to find on 3 information on how to fix this. What you should definitely try before contacting Orange, if you haven't already done so, is to power off your phone with the new SIM in it, let it sit for a bit, then turn it on again. Your SIM should work after this, although I had to do a battery pull while it was on its first full charge

i have a blackberry Z10 and i downloaded the new software update because it wouldnt let me download whatsapp and now

it wont let my mobile network turn on but it lets my data services go on

 

 

 

i dont know what to do :smileysad: HELP

Might a good idea to go into the phone shop and let them activate the Sim on the phone.

If the phone is locked to a network, then you'll need to register the Sim in store, this should of been done before you left the store.

well they said it would maybe take 30 minutes or sometimes 24 hours but it was working earlieri think its because i downloaded the new software update
