Bluetooth Headset Not Connect

I am unable to get any Bluetooth headset to work: Z10 says it is connected, but no sound comes into earpiece and voice commands are not accepted. Yes, I have done hard reset, deleted and reinstalled this Blackberry headset with no success. Also when 'paired', volume keys on device are locked. Any help?

When you go into Settings>Network Connections>Bluetooth>Paired then click on the headset, which services appear connected?
