Brand spanking new Z10

Hello,

I am sat at my laptop with my new Z10 and want to use BBLink to transfer stuff. But BBL says "This BB ID isn't associated with a device running BB 10 OS" blah blah even though both my laptop and Z10 are logged on with my BB ID. I've logged on, off, on off for over an hour and the Z10 is now close to death. Can someone help pleeeze?:Helpsmilie:

You mean the battery level is low?

Charge it up, to 100%.

Re: Brand spanking new Z10

Hello,

As I said above, even though my laptop and new Z10 are connected and both have logged on using my one BB ID, when I try to use BB Link to transfer stuff from my old BB 9300, my BB Link Logon says my BB ID isn't associated with a device running BB OS 10. As I said, I have logged in, out, in several times, I rebooted both laptop and Z10 and can really go no further. I do not want to re-key everything.

Regards,

Cublet

The easiest way to switch devices, in Link, select Computer, click on 'Switch Devices' then plug in old device (click on the picture of old phone) and follow the prompts. All data on phone will be backed up and later transferred to the new phone, swop SIM and SD card.

Hey, well you didn't actually say 'all' that above, and that helps explain it better.

Try what keith has recommended and see what happens. If you still have the BBID issue, post back.
